Submitting to The White List
The White List is open to everyone, anywhere in the world.
Submission does not guarantee placement, exposure, or development. It guarantees evaluation against a transparent standard. No pitching, no query, no cost to the writer.
Important Note: Writers retain ownership of their work at all times.
What Submission Means
When you submit a screenplay to be considered for The White List:
- Your work is evaluated blind to identity, credits, or representation
- The evaluation focuses on execution – not taste, bias or popularity
- Your script either meets the standard, or it doesn’t
There are no winners, finalists, or rankings.
What We Do Not Evaluate
We do not assess:
- Genre viability
- Castability
- Budget feasibility
Those decisions belong to producers and financiers.
If Your Script Qualifies
Scripts that meet or exceed the current threshold may be:
- Included on The White List and potentially optioned by FilmIQ
- Made available to select partners
- Considered for funding, development, and packaging
If Your Script Does Not Qualify
Most scripts don’t qualify, not because they’re bad, but because the bar is intentionally high.
Non-qualification is not a rejection, judgment of talent, or career verdict. It is a snapshot against a specific executional benchmark.
